Terms of Use
MindLoop EDU is an educational platform designed to help teachers create, share, and deliver learning materials, including lessons, quizzes, worksheets, and assessments. By using MindLoop EDU, you agree to these Terms of Use.
1. Overview
MindLoop EDU is an educational platform for teachers and the classrooms they run. Teachers use MindLoop to generate and deliver lessons, quizzes, worksheets, and assessments, and to share these activities with students through a class code. By creating an account or joining a class, you agree to these Terms of Use.
2. Accounts
Teachers must create an account to use the platform. Teachers are responsible for maintaining account security and ensuring proper use of the platform. Students may participate in teacher-managed classroom sessions without creating an account, by entering the class code and a nickname provided or approved by their teacher.
3. Teacher-managed classrooms
Teachers may create and manage classrooms within MindLoop EDU. By creating a class, you confirm that:
- you are authorized to manage student participation,
- you are responsible for how student data is used within your classroom,
- you are acting within an educational context (e.g. school, course, training).
4. Student participation
Students may join sessions using a class code or link provided by a teacher. Students may provide a nickname or identifier to participate. Students are considered participants within a teacher-managed classroom and are not required to independently accept these Terms in such cases.
5. Data usage
MindLoop EDU processes limited student classroom data strictly for educational purposes, including:
- quiz answers
- scores
- completion status
This data is visible to the managing teacher for classroom use only. MindLoop does not use student classroom data for product analytics, marketing, advertising, or unrelated profiling.
6. Teacher responsibilities
Teachers are responsible for:
- managing classroom participation,
- ensuring appropriate use of the platform,
- ensuring they have the rights to upload and share materials,
- obtaining any parental or institutional permissions required by local law or their school policies.
7. Uploaded content
